Saanvi VR Xperience
Looking at the tremendous benefit that VR had to offer in home interiors designing, we at Saanvi Enterprises decided to develop an application using VR technology, a year back. The concept was to create a VR space, where our stakeholders, namely customers, architects and interior designers can easily get a 3D walkthrough experience of different rooms of a virtual home and at the same time, get a functionality to change colours or textures of different wooden or plywood-based surfaces of the home with different Laminates (mica) or decorative options.
This idea was fuelled by our team’s keen observation through their interactions with many of our customers, who were usually seen less confident or uncertain while choosing laminates and veneers for their homes. And since, it can be a costly affair to replace laminates or decoratives, we wanted to aid our customers in choosing these materials with complete confidence.
After a lot of research work, several hours of discussions and almost 8-10 months of development, our VR technology application – Saanvi VR Xperience was ready to be rolled out. In a grand media event in February, we successfully launched it.
Features of Saanvi VR Xperience
Using VR glasses, our stakeholders can:
- Experience a 3D walkthrough of different home designs, curated by expert designers
- Change laminates or decorative (based on colour and texture) of wooden/plywood-based surfaces in these 3D designs, from an exhaustive list of laminates and veneers of top brands
Presently, the application is available only in offline mode; however, our development team is working on the online version of it.
